Animal Observations – Outside / Webcams – Living Things

This animal observation record can be used outdoors or with live webcams. Students track physical and behavioral characteristics of animals over 3 or 5 days using the observation sheets.

It’s ideal for lessons on adaptations, camouflage, or mimicry, and works well as a science investigation or home learning project. Three challenge levels are included.

For outdoor observations, choose an animal likely to remain in the same area for repeat visits.

Spiders in webs
Ant Nests
Animals in ponds
